Programs

The mission of the GRBA is to implant firmly in the children of the community the ideals of good sportsmanship, loyalty, honesty, courage and reverence, so that they may be finer, stronger, and happier children and will grow to be good, clean, honorable adults. The GRBA intends to achieve its mission by providing supervised athletic games. The development of the children is primary and the attainment of exceptional athletic skill or the winning of games is of secondary importance.

GRBA offers baseball for boys and softball for girls, as follows:

The Recreational Program runs from April through June. Registrations are typically in January.

The Recreation programs are run according to the Grade (not age) that the Child is currently enrolled in as of the start of the season (April).

For the 2008 Season, children must have been born prior to October 1, 2002 to be eligible for Tee Ball or Tee Wee.

Travel programs are also available in the spring, summer & fall for boys, starting at the 9U levle. The girls softball travel program is currently available in the summer and fall and the GRBA supports teams for girls age 18 & under, 15& under, 12 & under, and 10 & under.
